About the process:

This assumes you have some brewing equipment, if you need guidance, please mail This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. and we will supply you a list of suppliers. It is by no means difficult, but you do need to make sure you keep the pineapple beer free of fruit flies (and potential infection) as well as letting out the C02 created during fermentation - as not to have a messy explosion.

Ingredients:

Ingredient Weight
cayenne pineapple grated roughly 1 Pineapple
Sugar (Table) 800g

Water: 2 Litres

Yeast:

The yeast comes from the skin of the pineapples.

Brewing Process:

  1. Chop and add to water in a clean container.
  2. Cover and leave it to ferment for 4 days at room temperature.
  3. After 4 days, bottle into pet bottles and watch for fizziness.
  4. When it starts to make fizz, refrigerate.
  5. Drink before it gets too carbonated.

Optional extras such as additional yeast and spices can be added.
