This pineapple beer recipe is from South Yeasters Homebrewers Club's Russell Fox. Pineapple beer to enjoy during the drought. This is quick and easy for beginners.

It is by no means difficult, but you do need to make sure you keep the pineapple beer free of fruit flies (and potential infection) as well as letting out the C02 created during fermentation - as not to have a messy explosion.

cayenne pineapple grated roughly |

Water: 2 Litres
Yeast:
The yeast comes from the skin of the pineapples. |

Brewing Process:
- Chop and add to water in a clean container.
- Cover and leave it to ferment for 4 days at room temperature.
- After 4 days, bottle into pet bottles and watch for fizziness.
- When it starts to make fizz, refrigerate.
- Drink before it gets too carbonated.
Optional extras such as additional yeast and spices can be added.
